The Elkton Historical Society is hosting
its annual Christmas weekend celebration
Saturday,
December 10
and
Sunday, December 11 at the Miller-Kite Museum (Stonewall
Jackson's Headquarters) 310
E. Rockingham St., Elkton, VA.
Saturday's event includes a Christmas Tea with settings scheduled for
noon and 3 PM at a cost
of $15 per person.
Live cello music will be performed. Tickets may be prepurchased at the Hair
Gallery and Blue Ridge Radio & TV in Elkton.

Sunday's event is the society's traditional Christmas Open House
scheduled from noon to 4 PM. There will be a
book signing by Sara Robinson who will have her new poetry book titled, "Two
Little Girls In a Wading Pool" available, live holiday music and CD sales by
Ken Monger and Bob Simmons, Christmas in the 1860s program by Nancy Napier,
living history
demonstrations, house tours, gift ideas, refreshments. Free and open to the
